For a long time I have had (and still have) a paiting of an ant as my whatsapp profile picture: I did this as kind of a joke but I do feel somehow represented by these little untirable insects as much as I look up to them.

Apropos, I will be forever grateful to the entomologist Edward O Wilson, because since I came across the book he wrote about Ants (and won a Pulitzer for) I have regarded them with an even more warm gaze.
