I have always had an art studio for myself - even when things in life seemed to fall apart I would always be able to count on that safe place where I could do the things I love the most.
I feel like being there is where I truly belong and can spend endless hours in that place - always with a feeling of fullfilment.
As this is a place to myself, one of the things I did was to disconnect the intercom - this way no one can reach me, unless they scream out loud in the street and I happen to hear them (which has sometimes happened but, lucky for the neighbors, is not that common).
